Track Google Business Profile
By connecting your Google Business Profile (GBP) to Centerflow, you can track exactly which leads, orders, and reservations come from your GBP listing. This lets you measure the real impact of your profile and see it alongside all your other sources in Centerflow.
How it works
Centerflow identifies the source of an incoming visit or conversion using UTM parameters: small tags added to a URL. When someone clicks a link in your GBP that contains these tags, Centerflow automatically recognizes the visit as coming from Google Business Profile.
This is part of a series of articles on source tracking in Centerflow. The same principle applies to other sources like Facebook, Instagram, and more.
Step 1: Create your UTM link
Use the following template as your tracking link. Replace https://example.com with the URL you want visitors to land on (e.g. your homepage or a specific landing page):
https://example.com?utm_source=google_business_profile This link only uses a source parameter (utm_source). That's intentional: Google Business Profile doesn't have dynamic variables like ad IDs or campaign names, so a single source tag is enough to identify all traffic coming from your profile.
Step 2: Add the link to your Google Business Profile
Go to your Google Business Profile and open the profile you want to track.
Navigate to Edit profile β Contact β Website.
Replace the existing URL with your new UTM link.
Save the changes.
From this point on, every click on your website link in GBP will be recognized by Centerflow as a Google Business Profile visit.
Tracking multiple profiles
If you manage multiple GBP listings that each link to a different website, you can still distinguish between them by adding a utm_campaign parameter to each link. This lets Centerflow show you which specific profile a lead or order came from.
Use this template:
https://example.com?utm_source=google_business_profile&utm_campaign=profile-name Replace profile-name with something that identifies the listing, for example:
You'll then see these campaigns separately in your Centerflow reports, making it easy to compare performance across locations.
What you'll see in Centerflow
Once the link is live, Centerflow will automatically attribute incoming leads, orders, or reservations to Google Business Profile as the source. No further configuration is needed.
You can find this data under your source reports and apply it as a filter throughout Centerflow, including in your leads overview, orders, and reservations.
